We curate cultural walks that illuminate Syros’ traditional flavours and their deeper heritage, weaving together cultural storytelling and thoughtful tasting to create a rich sensory journey through the island’s sights, aromas, and tastes.
What We Can Arrange
More than a typical tasting tour, this experience uncovers the deeper story behind Syros’ traditional products. As we stroll through the historic streets of Hermoupolis, the walk blends culture, taste, and mindful discovery. Wandering along marble‑paved streets and past neoclassical façades, we’ll stop at carefully selected traditional stores to sample local specialties.
Along the way, we’ll be introduced to local herbs, the immune‑boosting benefits of thyme honey, the role of Mediterranean nutrition in longevity, and the island’s traditional preservation methods and natural remedies. We’ll discover the stories behind the producers and ingredients, and how these flavours have been woven into Syros’ culinary heritage for generations.
