Syra Nest was created from a shared vision: to offer a more thoughtful, well-structured and genuinely high-level hospitality experience in Syros rooted in local knowledge, international exposure and long-term relationships.
Behind Syra Nest are Athina and Panagiotis, combining complementary backgrounds in tourism, lifestyle, real estate and operations, with a deep understanding of how the island truly works both on the surface and behind the scenes.
Athina’s background lies at the intersection of tourism, lifestyle curation, real estate and concierge services.
She is the founder of a concept store in Syros and has worked extensively within the tourism sector across other Cycladic islands, gaining a broad understanding of destination positioning, guest experience and international clientele.
Alongside this, Athina is actively involved in real estate and property management, working with private homes, villas and investment properties, while providing tailored concierge services for both short-term guests and long-term owners.
Her approach is detail-driven, design-conscious and relationship, focused , ensuring that each property and each guest experience is aligned with a refined, understated standard of luxury.
Panagiotis brings a rare combination of international experience and deep local roots.
Having been professionally involved in football, with time spent abroad, he developed discipline, adaptability and a strong work ethic from an early stage. Upon returning to Syros, he became actively involved in the island’s hospitality and food & beverage scene, working with and holding shares in some of the most well-known establishments on the island.
Through years of hands-on involvement in tourism, restaurants and hotel operations, Panagiotis gained practical, on-the-ground expertise: understanding guest expectations, seasonal flows, staffing, and the realities of running hospitality businesses in a Cycladic environment.
With Syra Nest, he now channels this experience into a more complete, structured and forward-thinking hospitality model one that prioritizes quality, consistency and long-term value.
Athina and Panagiotis have worked together for over three years, building trust, shared methodology and a clear operational rhythm. What began as a collaboration has now evolved into a formal partnership under the Syra Nest umbrella.
Their combined strengths local insight and international mindset, creative vision and operational discipline allow Syra Nest to operate seamlessly between property management, concierge services and curated experiences.
